What The Heck Is Hummus? – Video Post

Posted on September 15th, 2008.

I’ll admit. I’m no Betty Crocker or Paula Dean… and I don’t even come close to Martha Stewart! I can’t stand baking and only do it if I am forced to. Cooking isn’t quite so bad, but still not one of my favorite things to do. Since I have a family to feed though, and since [...]

Tomato Jungle

Posted on August 30th, 2008.

Every spring, we plant tomato plants in our small little vegetable garden out back. This year was no exception… however, there was one big difference in our tomato plants this year compared to other years. Throwing “Healthy” Together

Posted on August 28th, 2008.

Now that my kids are back to school, and life in the afternoons is absolutely HECTIC, I know that in order to serve healthy dinners when we get home from gymnastics, dancing, piano, etc. I need to plan and prepare something during the day when things are a lot more calm.

Each weekday we are out [...]

All-Time Favorite Protein Shake

Posted on August 16th, 2008.

As you can tell from all the smoothie recipes I post on my blog, I’m not a big fan of cooking or spending time in the kitchen. I would be SO happy if my family could live on veggie drinks and protein shakes… or even better… that I could hire a personal chef to cook [...]
