FABULOUS Fitness Camp Results

Back in January, I started a six week fitness camp for women who were serious about losing weight, building muscle and replacing their unhealthy habits with easy-to-follow healthy habits. During the course of the six week fitness camp, participants were taught that intuitive, clean eating, is the only way to lose weight permanently and without misery. They were taught that diets DO NOT work long term… and that it IS possible to lose weight without feeling hungry, deprived and frustrated. Camp members were required to keep a daily food journal and email it in regularly for feedback, guidance and accountability on their food choices.

In addition to that, participants were given several assignments they were to complete, that helped them establish their individual health goals, outline negative triggers, and come up with ways they can overcome the obstacles that get in the way of them meeting their goals. It took the goal of losing weight, away from just the outward appearance and involved the internal self (the mental and emotional state) as well… making it a COMPLETE change of body and mind. 

 

And finally, camp members engaged in vigorous workout sessions two to three times per week, where they were challenged and pushed to their physical limits, gaining muscle, losing body fat and increasing in strength.

 

Before the camp started, I met with each person individually to determine their body fat percentage, their body mass index and their body measurements. Since last week was the end of the six-week fitness camp, I was able to meet with each of them again for their POST body assessment and to see if any improvements were made. 

 

Those few days of doing post body assessments, happened to be the best days of the entire six-week fitness camp! Every single client who diligently completed the assignments, who changed their eating habits to the clean eating method and who attended the workout sessions faithfully, SHRUNK their bodies, LOWERED their body fat percentage and had AMAZING, EXCITING success!!

 

It was an awesome experience to see these women go from being a little nervous and unsure of stepping on the scale, to squeals of delight and enormous smiles when they saw that not only did their weight go down, but their body fat was lower and they lost inches all over their body! The best part of all, (in my opinion), is that these women did this and experienced these fabulous changes WITHOUT dieting and feeling miserable!

 

One girl, who lost six pounds, went down 2% in body fat and lost an inch and a half in her waist and one inch in her hips had this to say about the camp: “I LOVED it! I got way more out of this camp than I expected! The emails and food journal helped me to stay focused all day… everyday!”

 

Another girl, who lost eight pounds, went down 4% in body fat and lost two inches in her waist and an inch and a half in her hips said this: “I LOVED this six week fitness camp. I have recommended your class to everyone I know! I have appreciated your knowledge of fitness and healthy eating and your motivation has really kept me on track. Honestly, I felt that my healthy eating habits have been as much of a help as the classes. Thank you so much!”

 

I am so proud of these hard-working women that I was able to work with over the last few weeks! It is so rewarding to see people make such wonderful changes in their life regarding their health and their eating habits… and because they have lost weight the good old fashioned way, by eating right and exercising, the fabulous results will stick with them for life!
