Wow! You all have such GREAT reasons for needing this plate! And it's nice to know I'm not the only one who has to NAG their kids to eat healthy! Actually, my oldest eats really well but my youngest is another story. I'm excited for Friday to announce the winner. Keep your comments coming!

Hi Liz. Liz from Meal Makeover Moms here. I love your product giveaway. I have two kids and I'm lucky because they're both great eaters (I'm a dietitian and cookbook author so they're used to my many creations). That said, my 13-year old has recently started to assert his independence and is more interested in Halloween candy right now than well-balanced meals! Okay, I must admit my boys are too old for the plate ... but it would be perfect for my 2-year old niece, Daisy, who would definitely be motivated to eat more fruits and veggies if she had that cute plate to eat from.

My kids really need something to help encourage them to eat heathly (besides me nagging them to) They are 6 and 8 and my six yr old doesn't like healthy foods. I'm changing my diet and maybe this will help him before it's too late to change his! Thanks for the giveaway!

What an amazing idea for that plate. I love her website too. Anyway, this is why I need the plate:
My daughter, who is 2 1/2 is a super-picky eater. Up until a couple of days ago, I would need to make her a separate dinner from the healthy meal my husband and I were having. It was usually not a super healthy food. So Friday was her doctor's appt. and we spoke to the doctor about eating habits. He gave me some tips, and one of them was to stop making her a separate meal immediately. So we have. I can't say she is trying a bunch of new food, but hopefully things will improve a little bit every week. She would love that plate. I think it might help us in this quest to help our little girl learn to like healthy food.

For the kids? How about for me as a Mom! I can just see me sitting down with this little plate (and of course playing it up--because after all this probably is the correct proportion we should be eating anyway) So, my kids sit down and ask, "Mom what are you doing?" It opens the window to explain to my kids why I am putting certain things on this plate and it certain places. Well, I have just done my job...I am now teaching my children through my examples...After all---doesn't a son want to be like his DAD!! And doesn't a daughter want to be just like her MOM! Well, if my husband and I were both eating on these plates and they want to be JUST LIKE US...we have just given our kids the greatest gift possible. Long healthy life!!
Put me down for the entry..If I win I'll buy 3 more for my family...
