Hey Liz, I enjoyed the article. I picked up a goal setting acronym a few years back that's similar to yours. It's CREATE. Meaning the goal should be Concise, Realistic, Ecological (good for you and your environment), As if it were now (putting the goal into present terms), Time framed and Evidence (what can you do to prove you achieved your goal).

Okay...one more comment!! My husband and I just finished watching SUPER SIZE ME (we checked the DVD out of the library) for his health class...Ya...it's a GOOD one to watch..I guarantee if you watch that movie you will NEVER eat fast food again or even let your kids TOUCH fast food... It's a GREAT motivation movie to watch...I've seen it before but it's been awhile since I've seen it...Liz I think you talked about it before...
It's a good one..(or rather a disgusting one) It makes you totally want to always be healthy for ourselves as well as for our kids..

Okay so I'm bummed!! I work out every day..(or at least 6 days a week)For at least an hour..I did a new work out and totally strained my upper calf ( to the left of my knee) anyway, it really hurts to walk on my leg. (I'm bummed) So I let it rest for a day (that was so hard to do for me) and today I did a mild cardio workout...It hurt to do jumping jacks...(Okay this really depressed me) Liz, will I do more damage trying to work out on it? My husband keeps telling me to cool it for a bit but I don't want to get out of the habit of working out..SO many trials right now that I feel like I've been *EMOTIONAL* eating..So, I really want to get back on the wagon...anyway, Monday I will just try to lift weights and see how that works..But, I am really missing my intense cardio workouts!! (even forward lunges hurt my left leg----YUCK this isn't fun--) :o(
Got any advice?
